About me

I was born on March 3rd, 1986 in Nha trang, a beautiful beach city of Vietnam. In 1999, I had a chance to use the Internet which is very expensive then and I get addicted to it. My very first website was built based on Geocity (a service of Yahoo) by a friend I know from chat. I started learning building website from that event and spent most of my time during high school for building a bunch of simple websites for myself and friends.

In 2004-2009, I studied at University of Natural Sciences. On Sep 2009, I graduated and got my first job as a frontend developer (HTML/CSS/Javascript) for an outsource company. I've mastered frontend skills from this job. After 1 year working, I quit and looked for chances to earn money online. I ended up with two decisions: Freelance and Google Adsense. It was a really tough time then. Besides learning and improving logic coding skill for backend side with PHP language, I also had to learn S.E.O, Google adwords, online marketing,...Both help me earn well until now. (During this time, I also sold a very lite non-database cms called quickxfactor for Adsense publishers. It ended in 2010). I became backend developer then.

In 2011, I got a new job as a software development team leader (Work mainly on backend stuff - PHP, MySQL, Apache, Nginx, Amazon services,...) for a newspaper and I still work here. Freelance is now my part-time job.

On July 2011, I started writing an open source cms based on Yii framework to help me build websites faster and more robust. It is gxc-cms (http://www.gxccms.com) and I published it 7 months later. I'm really happy that many developers like it. It is a joy for me.

Just like other developers, I love to build useful things for community. That's why when having time, I build apps to solve daily problems around me. (Mywordbook.com is an example,...) and more to come. If you have any ideas that you want to bring to life, feel free to contact me and we can work on it if possible.

Currently, I am learning: Magento (learning).
